How to Apply for an Internship?

Students' Role

Through our Internship Program, you have the opportunity to explore your career fields in action, develop industry contacts and build the critical transferrable skills that are in high demand from companies nowadays.

What is an Internship?

An internship is a form of experiential learning that integrates knowledge and theory learned in the classroom with practical application and skills development in a professional setting. Internships give students the opportunity to gain valuable applied experience and make connections in professional fields they are considering for career paths; and give employers the opportunity to guide and evaluate talent. - National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)

The internship Program is mainly developed for your career enhancement during your academic years at the AUC. Internships are either voluntary or paid.

Internships are provided through three main programs:

The duration of the summer internships vary from one to three months and takes place between June and August. You can make the best of your summer vacation and develop your skills within a professional environment.

The duration of the winter internships is one-month during January. As the first-of-its kind in the region, the winter internship program provides you with the opportunity to benefit from the winter break to build work related experience.

The duration of the year-round internship is on a part-time basis during the academic year where employers are increasingly seeking students to intern. Part-time internships are a valuable opportunity to invest extra time to acquire on-the-job training and experience.
