The Career Center offers you a variety of services to help its graduate students and alumni identify their career goals and paths, as well as gain work experience while studying at AUC.
Online career services are provided through a web-based career services management system (CareerWEB). It is your gateway to internship opportunities and full-time jobs. It also keeps you up-to-date with career-related workshops, on-campus recruiting visits and other career-related services. Individual advising sessions can be scheduled with a career advisor to help you learn more about yourself and your career options. Integrating this information will result in clarifying your career goals and making informed choices concerning your major and career.
+ Self-assessment and Career Planning
Self-assessment is the foundation of career decision making. The Career Center offers two main tools for self-assessment:
Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI©) is a self-report questionnaire based on Carl Jung’s theory. It is a personality indicator that helps you identify your strengths and unique gifts that match different career choices.
Strong Interest Inventory (SII©) is based on the Holland Theory that helps you understand your areas of interest and their relationship to the working world. It provides information that leads you to greater self-understanding and helps you make sound career decisions.

To assist you in successfully marketing yourself to employers, the Career Center provides customized services to help you enhance your job-search process.

Beginning your graduating senior year, you can benefit from the following recruitment services:
CareerWEB Job Announcements allow you to browse and apply to various work study, internship and career opportunities on CareerWEB, your online career services management system, and keep up-to-date with the job market trends. They also assist you to learn first-hand about corporate recruiting visits, challenges and competitions.
Employment Fair is held annually in the fall and spring. The fair is a one-day recruiting event that provides a forum for cultivating and developing productive relationships between AUC graduates and the corporate world.
+ Resources and Libraries
Career Resources Library is an excellent start to research career options and corporate information, and learn about job-search tools and graduate study opportunities. The library allows you to browse through corporate reference materials, career-planning books, and personal development references; seek information on international graduate programs; and watch videos on job-search strategies.
Online Career Libraries are a set of the best in class career libraries available online by the Career Center to AUC students and alumni for free. You can explore career options through downloading career guides, company information, and industry research and get career advice from various career-related articles and videos.
